Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the gorgeous track cars at Turner, 1 500Rwhp Supra MKIV, 2 of the famous "yellow/blue" 330's on the lift, and a euro M3 track car.

sorry, no pics. Didn't bring camera.

i'm not used with dyno sheet, but 220 hp seems low with all the mods you've got on your //M.

He has an Intake, exhaust, and a shark injector (which is worthless as far as power goes)....220rwhp is pretty damned good, although i would expect a bit more torque out of the 3.2l

I put down 216/223...all i have is an ecis intake.

It was $75 for the dyno. I could've saved a little more if I had dynoed with other people but I needed to see whats going on with my car as I have noticed that my car doesn't pull as hard as it used to on 2nd gear.

The compression tests show that cylinder 4 has a 9% decrease as compared to stock compression. The other 5 cylinders were only 2-3% decrease. Which however was ok according to Dave. But does anyone here know what that could mean?

He fixed a few quirks for free, loose left drivers air duct, tightened a few sway bar links, and he was also kind enough to fix my billstein shocks which did not have the washers put in that keeps the shocks from "walking" as he termed it, or getting misaligned.

Anyway, I'm happy with the results especially since it was done on a dynapack

yeah i put down 234 whp on a mustang dyno (after tuning).....on my car man, nice job. and almost 260whp on the dyno jet before tuning..
my question for the masses is what dyno is the dyno pack most like??? or where does it fit in with the order of dynos

Nice numbers, buddy! What year is your M3? Seems like your major mods are suspension/braking, with just intake/exhaust/software it seems like you've made a nice improvement over stock.

dynapack is the dyno that hooks up to the hubs of a car, which is not cool IMHO.

I'd say mustang>dynojet>dynopack

Hmmm, Rob, what's your reasoning on that? It seems to me that without the traction issues you'd get on a Mustang or Dynojet, you'd get a more accurate reading with a Dynopack. It's also safer without a car that could fly off the dyno!

Well, I asked Dave of TurnerMotorsports about the different dynos. In layman terms the mustang dyno & dynojet give a little HP increase due to the rotating cylinders that go under the wheels. He explained that if you take the car off the dyno while the car's running, those cylinders themselves have a little inertia which would keep it spinning just enough to give a favorably above inaccurate reading.

TurnerMotorsports has tried different dynos and the dynapack is one of the most accurate, according to Dave.
