| I have the HPS pads FYI, I have been running the Hawk HPS on the street, for autocross and on the track. They take a beating, little if any fade and last a while. I am using a set of HPS all around on Frozen/slotted rotors on the front of the car and on stock rotors in the rear.
There has been little if any rotor wear in the 5K I have these pads.
Repeated 140 to 65 slowdowns to make the apex at Pocono couldn't even get them to squeak. The rear pads at that time were stock, and they cracked in half that day.
I have had no issues with the HPS at all. The HP pad (the next one up) is a squealing mess on the street but grab like crazy when pushed.
For every day I would strongly reccomend the Hawk HPS.
JMHO,
Matt
