| V1 concealed display install... Hey Im getting a V1, but I needed to know if I should get the concealed display also. Does anyone have this unit installed in their E36 M3, any pics? I'm trying to figure out where I would put it. Thanks.

| All you need to do is hardwire it and put it by the passenger visor, get a CD-Case that mounts on the visor to cover it up....oh and lets not forget the Invisi_mirror, putting the V1 by the passenger visor won't allow to see the display, you get the Invisi_mirror and you're all set, the display on the V1 is displayed on your mirror! I've had this setup for a year now, and have been pulled over enough times, never had a problem....I simply turn it off when I see cop, and if get pulled over, JUST to be on the safe side, I flip the visor, you dont' really even have to do that.... |

| Thanks Arman for the response, but I'm more interested in the Concealed Display, rather than the Invisimirror. Anybody else?

| A guy @ BMWM5.com has put his on his A pillar and the controls are next to his headlight switch, I know its not an E36, but it can still work for you i think.

| Wow, thats a bit more slick than I'm willing to do. I think I'll just go for the regular concealed display, and put it in either the sunglass holder, or maybe in the lower left part of the instrument cluster.
