| Im pretty sure AA will sell the parts separately, they just use a Mitsu TD06 turbo, pretty much in that kit what you pay for is the tubing and the intercooler also injecotrs and software will run you a pretty penny

| actually, the piping is no big deal and pretty much any city has a place that can do it... the intercooler is a spearco, no biggie, and the injectors are ford parts (bosch = available through SVT).... so, what you really pay for in the kit is the headers and the downpipe, software. the rest is generic basically. custom tubular headers will run you around 1200+, and a downpipe is around 1/2 that. software... well, you can go standalone, or you can run a fuel computer... standalone is 1500 and up, a fuel computer starts at around 400. a RRFPR won't work for a turbo because they don't come on linearly like a supercharger. oh... the TD06 they run uses a stock 20G wheel... its a little small IMO. |

| uhhh... mad max doesn't run a TD06... in fact its pretty far from it. blown m compact, the car that was origonally recieving that motor, said they were even considering using a garret T-60 or T-62. 12psi is quite a bit of boost for these cars without major work, and AA is lowering the compression in the stg2 kit using a thicker head gasket, so that they will run on pump gas still... still, i maintain the fact that the td06 with 20g trim is a little bit small for this application, thats why the dyno charts for stg - i cars drop off in teh high rpms... intake temps start to rise as the compressor leaves its most efficient area... AA odviously decided to sacrifice a little bit of top end power for less lag and better, flatter midrange... personally i'd rather choose teh proper gear and have teh high end power. don't believe me? look at the dynos, they don't lie. |

| tubing I heard from someone you can buy all sorts of mandrel bent tubing from places that sell parts to repair truck turbo diesel engines. They use 3 inch dia tubing.
