turbo

Has anyone had any reliablilty problems with their turbos or superchargers? I was just wondering how they ran and how they behaved on the street. I mean, is the car still a car that you can drive comfortably everyday? Any responses would be greatly appriciated, seeing as I might be investing in one in the near future.

and im not just talking about a s/c or a turbo for an e46 either. Any s/c or turbo stories/facts/opinions would be greatly appriciated.

My twin-turbo in my Audi is great. I dont know how much of a help I am but I have had my car for about a year and a half and the turbo is flawless. one problem though, my cylinder heads were getting pretty badly scraped up, but that isn't related, I think.
