Hay guys what turbo would u recomend running it with the 2.0L 4cylinder e46 engine? Mayb a garett t28? Let me know ur thoughts TAHNKS!

Yeah, a small turbo like a T28 with mild boost (6-8psi) would be perfect with stock internals.

I live in the bossley park area i just got my p's the other week!

Well thats why i wanna do it cause its very very rare to see a e46 turbo'd! Do u guys think i will encounter any problems?

dont think ur gonna incounter any problems well u shouldent ..its just the matter of setting everything up right and getting the car 2 run right once u get over that it should be sweet.and it depends who does it and remember dont always go for the cheapest price..because what u pay for is what u get

Out of interest, what sought of money are you looking at spending on a turbo. Any 318i for that matter. M3SUM maybe you can help me out there

I dont think its worth doing to an otherwise nice new car.

dcr62 when i was looking for qoutes there where all around$8500..to$10,000 thats the whole thing custom made intercooler custom made dump pipe blow off value turbo link computer..thats going getting new computer as we speak..extra injector..surge tank...t28 ball bearing turbo..turbo timer..dyno tuned b4 and after ..theres lots more but cant think right now

I was about to say the same thing about SC. Supercharging the E46 seems like the best option to me. There are a few companies which will sell you a complete kit from the States or Europe.
You'd easily be looking at around $10000 though, if not more. But at least you'd know all the research and development has been done and companies like ESS will give you an option of a warranty.
