A few of turbo related questions I'm thinking aobut turbocharging my car in the near future, but i have a few questions. First of all, i plan on first setting it up to run with the stock internals, until i can get low compression internals and bump up the boost. Ok, here are my questions:
1) WOuld a T3 turbo be appropriate for this application? should i maybe get a t3/4 hybrid to to begin with, in preperation for when i increase boost? Or is that overkill.
2) Is there such thing as too big of an intercooler? What size intercooler should I be looking at. It would be nice if i didnt ahve to change this when i add more boost.
3) What do the compressor wheel trim numbers mean, and what is recommended.
4) Where is the air metered on turboed cars usually? before or after the charger? Would it be worth it to upgrade to a mass-air system, rather than use the stock AFM>
5) What type of engine management is recommended?
