97+ Nose and Kidney Conversion

Hey Peeps

I was just wondering when converting from 93+ e36 kidney and nose to 97+ kidney and nose, does there have to be any modifications made, or does it just fit straight on??

From what ive heard its just a straight switch....no modification needed.

Im hoping to get this done soon.....do you know how much a 97+ nose piece/grille costs?

No idea, sorry man...
Shouldnt be to much i think the front is like $200 plus painting, and the grills are about $120 i think not really sure though...

Have you put on your chrome boot lid already???

Nah, im pickin it up from baron_bohr once ive got my licence. Goin for it on tuesday, so hopefully i pass and can get it asap

no Fred no modifications need to be made whatsoever the 97" nose fits in there perfect........

No modifications needed. Basically bold on procedure.

Not sure if you know, but Parramatta Prestige at North Parramatta sell the conversion for $250 unpainted.

umm whats the actuall difference in the nose peice, ive never really taken much notice?

Actual difference is the Grille is more "Puffier" (best i can explain it!)

can't say i've noticed a difference either.
but i guess i dunno what to look for.

other than the front bar being different.
