Is it safe to use UD pulleys on turbo car?

Thinking about buying some for my turbo M3, $185 is cheap. Any input on this?

I asked Roque about it for my turbo 325 and they said they would work. So I am pretty sure the UUC would too.

Yes it would work. Just make sure the crank pully isnt replaced with an underdrive one.

For additional info, you can check European car magazine on the project M3. They have a write up there about pulleys on turbo cars.

I got AA stage 1 Gen 2. but i got a 3" downpipe and HKS external wastegate ect.

Going to an external wastegate set-up on a gen II package basically brings it up to gen III doesn't it?

gen 3 has the aluminum piping, bigger turbo, and intercooler. basicly a stage 2 without head kit and euro hfm. I dont plan to stay stage 1 but its a start

Forrest, congrats on your AA turbo. Now your car is complete.

I think what you have described above was the stage 1+. If there is a stage 1 gen 3, I would think its just converting the internal to external wastegate and maybe changing the plumbing to aluminum but same turbo (TDO6 16G). Its probably best to contact www.aatuning.com for this tech info.

Jon, you dont remember what month or what the outcome was on the EC article do you. I am thinking of ordering these like today. but I am missing a few issues of EC and dont remember reading anything about it. thanks
