Also search thru the links - it will provide feedback (several of them DTMers) about their experiences Last edited by Paddy Mack : 03-27-2003 at 09:49 AM. |

| One more - ASA Looks like youll have to phone for price info - highest HP ratings I've found though. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely look into their offerings. |

| Can someone explain why RMS sucks so bad. I have heard they are terrible but would like to know more on why. We just got an authorized RMS installer/dealer intown and they have the ability to dyno tune etc...

| From what i have read over the past 1.5 years on DTM and bimmerforums, The hardware is good, the software is bad. They have had very poor customer service issues in the past which was partially remedied by the arrival of new staff. But it doesn't seem to be getting better anymore. I dont remember exactly but i belive i have read that Osh can custom tune well... Search Bimmerforums FI page and there some pretty bad stories in Jetblacks thread. Check Blown_M_compacts sig to see what the better business bureau has to say about them also. There have just been too many horror stories. It is true that no company is perfect but some companies just have a reputation of screwing up more than others and RMS IMO is on that list. There is a chance that if you get one you will be fine but there is a better chance of your car having problems then say a FI system by AA. AA has problems like any other company but i don't see half as many AA problems than RMS problems. Just do a search, there are plenty of threads with people's experiences. If you really want a Vortech SC'ed ssytem i would recomend buying the hardware from RMS but do the tuning somewhere else. Since you are in florida you should give AA a call, they have tuning software for RMS systems. Hope this helps, if i have made any incorrect statements, please someone correct me so that i am not spreading false information. Thanks Last edited by Jahkesh : 04-02-2003 at 11:42 PM. |

| *stupid 1 minute edit rule* I completely forgot, DINAN's Vortech SC. It's expensive but it is one of the most reliable kits out there from what i have herd. Some even say, more reliable than AA FI kits but i have no hands-on experience. |
