| hehe. imagine squeezing right as you turn. man you would have no control at all! hehe. now back to the question. i sugest not having it on your shifter unless you are very carefull. you never know, you might downshift here a shhhhh and then bam and some smoke get me. hehe. the steering wheel is a great spot since your hands are there anyway. |

| Just as long as you dont hit the button while going for the horn. Assuming your horn is on the steering wheel that is. I say have it somewhere on the center panel. Like beside the gear stick or something, that way your not gonna be having accidents b/c hitting the switch at the wrong time. |

| Mount the ON/Off switch on the center console....after hitting second it should be maybe about an inch from your thumb.....Traction is severe problem in first. Try a progressive timer...that would be optimal. |

| the zex kit is nice. my friend has it on had it on his Si. He had to take if off though cause he got a jackson s/c. But i really liked the kit. I would take it off his hands if i didnt have my s/c.

| Why not launch the car without using WOT in first. I heard of a launching technique where you have rpms at 2-2.5k (I think that number is right) then you pop the clutch. That way you can have maximum traction and torque without spinning the tires. That is what I plan to do when I get my kit.

| launching without coming close the rev limiter in first is very hard on my car because i am running 3.91 lsd gears. i go through first in like 1.5 seconds. i have found a place that makes a steering wheel mounted nitrous button, but i think you have to hold it down for it to be constantly running power. i am looking for something like the stereo steering wheel remotes with a wire running to the nitrous system as a power switch only, as i mentioned before the throttle actually starts the nitrous flowing. it has to be a button i can press and forget, it would also be nice if it lit up so i can tell if it is on or off at night. i'm guessing i'm gonna have to make this. i've heard a company called compucar makes one, but haven't seen any pictures. thanx for all the good replies guys, if anyone has any ideas please let me know. |
