Also, yes, beware, euro motors can act up and do act up more frequently then a stock US motor. Thats the nature of a high performance racing engine. I love my motor dearly, I wouldn't trade it for anything near or above it in my car even though Im only making 275-280 at the crank at my altitude. Your asking too much of your motor to be making 350hp or 370 with your mods a "unichip" at any altitude. Very few people in the country, yet alone world can even tune the 3.2 euro like a 3.0 us. I know of one guy in the states and he charges an arm and both your legs. You'll need to go inside to get numbers like that. 350 I can see with more then an intake and exhaust though. Sorry to burst your bubble. Prove me wrong and I will drink my warm glass of stfu. |
Portal, your comment above shows how much you REALLY DON'T know about the euro motors. These motors are VERY reliable and don't need You don't need to go internal to get 370. Digitec built an M Coupe with this motor and they deleted the Mass Air and added a carbon airbox to get an extra 15 horse. They are making 385 out of a COMPLETELY STOCK INTERNAL motor with ECU upgrades, no mass air, and a carbon airbox. Please don't flame if you don't know. I deal with these motors EVERY day and have ALOT of experience with ALL BMW motors. Oh, and if you think I am not credible, call up TC Kline Racing, ask for Pete or TC and ask them about my "credibility." Portal, your comments are laughable, so please don't waste any more of your time or DTM's bandwidth posting your innaccurate, argumentative comments.
