| How many miles are on the car?? What kind of condition is the engine in? I don't believe in putting NOS in BMWs especially in an E30 with miles on the clock..however it definately can be done but I would get the engine checked out and sure propper valve adjustments have been made and your fuel system is running up to standerd. The mixture ratio is extremely important. |

| i was tripping fianls and stuff. hehe. you can put nos on your car but a i doubt your engine will last long. and on a auto nos wont do that much if it is a set injection(it shoots in automaticcly at a set rpm everytime you reach that rmp) since auto cars dont really reach high rpms. if you were to inject it manually you would encounter the same problem on a auto since your car usually doesnt readch high rpms. so the nos wont do to much for your car. it is very posible to put nos on your car but the hp gains would not be as good as in a manual. this probobly doenst make sence. hehe. it is so much easier to explain in person useing a real car. |

| Do not use it on an auto e30. Sorry to tell you but e30 auto's suck. They are prone to fail quickly with stock power. They will not take nos very long. Re:Engine Damage I have had my kit for over 18 months. My car had 88000 miles...now has 121000 miles......NO DAMAGE whatsover.Just make sure the engine is well cared for. If you want more in depth info go back on this e30 forum. I posted numerous times regarding this topic about 2 weeks ago. If you still want more info pm/email me. I only have experience with e30 325i on NOS, 92 Camaro Z28 conv on NOS(high 11's) car is long gone. |

As far as spraying, I would say that if you really want to do it, a 50 shot should be relatively safe.

| The reason automatic transmissions tend to "suck" is because of thier inefficency causing a loss of RWHP. One reason is instead of a clutch, you get a torque converter; which is not a direct connection. A torque converter in basic terms works by the engine spining one blade that pushes fluid through another set of blades connected to the drive line. This is why you can be towing somthing heavy in an auto, step on the gas with the tires not spining and the car still, and the car does not stall. ![]() Edit: I might add that the BMW automatic transmitions are very efficent as far as autos go.. so are hondas. An auto VS a manual is not going to effect the engine differently when it comes to NOS. However, it would take allot to ever make me want to buy an auto; I can't see it happening any time soon.
