| interesting. the compressor needs rebuilding that often, that sounds like a pain in the ass, what exactley needs rebuilding and how much does it cost?I don"t plan on huge boost so that is not a big issue< not yet at least. how is the performance more importantly, my uncle runs a prototyping shop so he can help me with custom piping and the entire install, was the performance close to the advertised performance? Thanks a lot, this was a big help. |

| As far as the performance I would say it is close to advertised if not right on (I cannot confirm quite yet as I am still looking for a shop with a 4 wheel dyno to confirm my numbers). Custom piping is definately the way to go!!! As far as the rebuild and costs check out the below links, they will give you a complete understanding of what is to be done & costs. http://home.wi.rr.com/planestang/Zsu...er_rebuild.htm http://www.iwinengineering.com/supercharger_repair.htm I'm not sure how many miles you put on in a year but 25-30K seems about average for rebuilding the Powerdyne units. If you are looking for something more durable with higher capacity I would recommend looking into a Vortech setup.
