Thumbs up Check out this 1984 745i turbo...so sick [PICS]

Stoped by skips house today to see his friend Mikes's new 1984 745i....one of the fastest cars i have ever been in, seriusly a sleeper like never before.

It is a Euro (of course) 1984 745i 3.4l turbo intercooled, 11psi Tuoma Chip. Fresh Head (15k), 3 angle valve job. 5spd conversion, rebuilt a getrag 265, short shift kit, new clutch, slave, master, guibo, pilot & to bearings, ds center support, etc. A fabricated dual 2.5in exhaust w\ss muffler. New within last year; Brake master cyl., wheel bearings, front brakes, AC drier, Kumhos 235/45/17 (500 mi), shocks. Nice tan leather interior (not buffalo).

We took it for a drive and after having it warm up for quite some time it turned out to be incredibly fast....i still feel it in my neck.

Seriusly it shot to 80 befor i could tell....it has like 318 rear wheel hp...it beats new 7's and m3's alike...no one things it will. The car was orginaly all re-done by this guy in florida who works fora company that builds all these helicopters so he made most of the parts himself...the SS the exhaust etc. its crazy fast.

I never got any under hood shots, i kept trying to but never ended up with any...

Dude there's no way it would take a 745Li...... those suckers do 0-60 in 5.9 stock.

For a car that's older than I am that's amazing, incredible shape too. Where is it? You live down the road from me remember...

I should change that.. it's mostly photoshop stuff, right now it's a 97 estoril with 18" PG2s so it has the potential to look like the pic.

That's why it says brace yourself for the future.

Scott I'll only be living down the street for a few more weeks man, house is sold.. I get the car at 7:30 this friday, we need to hang out. Roat, you in McLean too?

Wow, that is one hell of a car.... All I can say is beware of the turbo m30!!! Ive seen guys push well over 500 crank hp with that set up...

A local car dealer just sold his '84 745i (it was his weekend fun car) on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1876311992 Buffalo leather, bbs body kit and wheels, and only 57,000 miles!!! I wish I had $7,000 cause the winning bidder got the buy of the century. They dont make eclectic BMWs like this anymore.
