Dinan supercharger pricing, installation included?

Well, if you were serious about a Dinan SC, I would check out some other dealers by you. I was quoted 5995 for the blower, and about 1800 for the install!

I know they have kits around $4,000 for 4 bangers. I'm pretty sure they make kits for 6's too but they don't hype them as much as their 4 banger kits. Install is supposed to be very easy.

But the bottom line...you can get a quality SC installed for about $6,000 if you look. Dinan sucks. $10,000+ my ass.

I think that's just a bit of a stretch!!! This is not a mod that can be done by just anybody, following instructions! Not a chance! Furthermore, with Dinan or even RMS for that matter, if you do it yourself, the work is not warrantied by anyone. At least Dinan or an authorized RMS installer will stand by their work. That to me, is worth an extra 1500 to 1800... I mean seriously, if you have the cash to buy an SC to begin with, why skimp out on the install cost at that point. Yes, if you have the know how to do it yourself, then go for it. You can prolly fix it yourself too then when and if something goes wrong!

imo if i get a blower i'd want to find someone who did know what they were doing and have them help me install it. its not because i don't want to pay for labor but its something that i would want to learn to do, its an experience hopefully it won't be one that ruins the car.,...heh heh heh
