Turbo S vs. Viper

My cousin and I were driving in my Trubo S and we see this viper behind us (a few cars back). We pull into a gas station to fill up and he follows. He pulls to the pump next to me and asks what is a Turbo S I tell him just a 911TT nothing special. I then ask what kind of car he had. After some more BS we leave. When I start the car and start to drive away he yells damn that is a loud exhaust (i have the fabspeed adj. supercup exhaust and i had the baffles out). We both get on the interstate and I am a few cars ahead of him. He catches up to me and we are side by side. We both go for it and I wasted him. We go again and he backs off. I then see this big puff of smoke in my rear view mirror and slow down. He drives for a tad bit and pulls over and I follow the smoke just wont stop. He gets all mad and says that is not just a regular TT. I called a dodge dealer and had them come get his car he was very thankfull. Not the greatest race in the world but pretty fun.

Not the greatest, but I'd be willing to wager 1/2 the guys here would give up leftie to be on either side of the situation...Well, minus the engine going boom...Wonder if he mis-shifted...

Larry,
Yes this is a very interesting garage.
At first glance, most folks must assume that it is imaginary...
But hey, some people have it like that.

Your garage would make for a very handsome series of photographs.
The lightweight and the CSI are rare...
You should put these cars on a grass field, and snap them all together.. Then email me a copy

Regards,

Greg

Well, from what I understand, the dodge vipers had some sort of problem with the engine locking up. I had two friends that this happened to. He had a 2000 ACR with maybe 1800 miles on it. He drove it down to florida to see his girlfriend and while they were out on a date, the engine just locked up on him. It took him two months to get that crap taken care of (had to ship engine to detroit and who knows what else). Also, a dealership in our area that is really big into american muscle cars, the owner drove a viper GTS. Same thing happened to him. He used the viper as his daily driver, but i remember hearing from someone that his engine locked up as well.

All Dodges and Chryslers suck, their interiors are all the same, from the neon to the Viper. The leather feels like it's fake, I would hate to spend so much money on a car that I wouldn't like spending time in.
