Vipers are fast as hell, look good and are pretty reliable. They are not pieces of shot, they certainly aren't built as solidly and as well as most Bimmers, but they're extremely fast and smokes 90 percent of the cars on the road today.

VIPER

I think Viper is one of the greatest cars out there.
Yes they got 450hp in 8l engine. so what? Much better than having 2l engine with 400hp at million rpm. And I saw Viper kills Lambo pretty easy. So it's all depends on driver and the car condition.
Also just imagine what it will be if Viper gonna have Twin Turbo?

Can someone tell me the difference between a turbo S and a turbo 911? I'm not familiar with this car...
The Turbo S was a limited production car in 1997. Some of the differences would be Yellow calipers, Intake vents on the rear
quater panels, AWD, 424hp @ 5750rpm, 400 lb-ft A 4500rpm.

I do believe Hennessey *sp* Motorsports makes a very nice new Venom Viper. They can be very fast cars with that much motor who couldn't. My S is not stock (520hp+) and I have taken a former neighbors Venom 600 before. With a better driver behind the wheel of the viper it would have taken me I don't know. I like the car but not enough to own one.

well my friend once again had a Dodge Shelby Durango that caught on fire. total of 6 hours driving time broken down 3 times. He paid $75000 for it and had to special order it. you have no idea what he had to go through to get his money back. thank god for lemon law. for people that dont know what a shelby durango is here is what it comes with:
-Brembo Cross drilled Rotors/calipers
-lowered
-body kit
-Super Charger
-carbon fiber interior
-tv and vcr
-18" rims
-blue with white racing strips
-4 leather racing Shelby buckets
-Full Exhaust
im sure there is more but i forget what more it had.
this car was insain.
Problems:
2 hours of driving the 1st day rough idle and couldnt keep it started. 3 weeks later he got it back. drove it for another 2 hours and same thing. they had no idea what was wrong with it. the dodge dealer had it for a month. get it back and the same day he gets it back it caught on fire!!! now if thats not a POS then what is. also dodge wouldnt give him a rental car. he was at the time 19 and dropped 75k on a new Shelby Durango, you would think they could help him out.

LOL. What do you drive? E36 318i with grey bumpers? I don't know much about the new Viper but the old viper had piss poor build quality.

I wouldn't trade my E30 for 3 Vipers.

Actually I would. Then I'd sell the Vipers, buy back my E30, do an s50 conversion, cop a SC 540i, cop a AAS Turbo M3, cop a SL600, and still have money left over.
