Supercharger...?

Hey all. I have a question. What would I be looking for if I wanted to S/C a E36 325? (what brand, type, etc.) Preferably something within $3000 usd (if thats possible). It would probably have to be used for that price. I'm lost on this subject and figured forums would be my best bet for answers.. Thanks!

You won't get anything unless it's used for 3000.00. You are talking 5000.00 not including installation.

Ya know, it's too bad we can take a supercharger from a damned 5.0 Mustang, and retrofit it somehow to a Bimmer. ...then just pay for the software under the table at your local dealer with a Dinan store...

This would be one cheap solution. Ahh, dream land again.

I was looking at the Powerdyne (yes, im cheap.. and on a budget.. a minimum wage job just doesnt cut it =D ).

Check the forums and Turner Motorsports and Ebay. I have recently seen used superchargers on all of those sites. You should easily be able to get a used one for $3000. But it will most likely be a basic set up. Just check around on the web, there are both Dinan and ERT and RMS S/Cs for sale out there. I believe a Dinan setup recently went for $2400 on Ebay. Just try to get one with low miles on it.

supercharger (vortech) should be good for 125000 or so miles MINIMUM.... i don't plan on putting that many miles on my car within the next 10 years, so i'd say the mileage thing isn't really that big of a deal.
