| Ya know, it's too bad we can take a supercharger from a damned 5.0 Mustang, and retrofit it somehow to a Bimmer. ...then just pay for the software under the table at your local dealer with a Dinan store... This would be one cheap solution. Ahh, dream land again. ![]()

| Theyre all for american cars... Which kit will work w/a BMW or do I have to buy the parts seperate? http://www.superchargersonline.com/superchargers.asp I was looking at the Powerdyne (yes, im cheap.. and on a budget.. a minimum wage job just doesnt cut it =D ). |

| There are some used superchargers online Check the forums and Turner Motorsports and Ebay. I have recently seen used superchargers on all of those sites. You should easily be able to get a used one for $3000. But it will most likely be a basic set up. Just check around on the web, there are both Dinan and ERT and RMS S/Cs for sale out there. I believe a Dinan setup recently went for $2400 on Ebay. Just try to get one with low miles on it.

| supercharger (vortech) should be good for 125000 or so miles MINIMUM.... i don't plan on putting that many miles on my car within the next 10 years, so i'd say the mileage thing isn't really that big of a deal. |
