VTEC is a joke anyway; look at some dynos' of them from jacksonracing.com; the power drops off right before it engages, then kicks back up again; hence it feels fast, although at best it is just like taking our power curve and cutting a valley into it.

The bimmerboy there couldnt even get it right..

"the m50 2.5 engine (what my car has) produces 189 hp and 178 lb/ft of torque
the m50 2.8 engine (328i) produces 190hp and 182 lb/ft of torqe"

The 2.8L is the M52 which has 190hp and 206lbs of tq..
