Nos?

Ok, can someone smart explain to me what a nos installation would cost in the us and how long will one shot last etc? Just general information! Its VERY rare in finland for people to have nos in their cars, and im very interested

Btw. how big is the hp boost with nos? Ive heard that it would even double your hps...?!

im not an expert in this field but from what i have read around your HP gains depends on how large of a shot oyu use. The bigger the more horses. Also the type of kit you use makes a differnce

But id wait for a "nos expert" to come around and answer for ya.

I know that a kit will run you about $500 but the price of installation will depend on where you have it done. A shot will last about 5 seconds + or -.

NOS isnt the best Nitrous kit for BMW's from what I have heard, I think Zex is the best one, talk to Scho, hes runnin a ZEX kit on his M3 I think.

I have Nitrous Express. It is good for additional 75 hp at the wheels and almost twice that in torque. A good and safe setup will cost close to $1000. That is if you use all the safegaurds in place and dont cut corners.

Stay away from ZEX. They claim it works on BMW's, but it wont. There is a new kit for BMW's that I think might work, but I would not use it. NX is the bomb!!!

hey Scho, I am considering gettin the NX kit, how do you like it? have you taken it to the track yet? what times you run with it? you use it on the street often?

The kit is bad ass although my clutch is gone. Stock clutch still at 65000 miles and several track miles and street racing on it. It finally went. As soon as I get the new one in this week, I will get some times at the track. I cannot wait honestly. I am running stock software still and need no timing retards for the NX kit.
