Jon Sibal: Bring a pair of Depends and I'll give you a ride any day bud! Jon, I should be asking you for a ride in your car!Mikey: I think I'll hold back for a bit on the release of the video until the world is ready...

Alex: yeah I've been recommended to get LSD ASAP... speaking of traction the SO3's on my wheels right now grip really really well... btw, i just noticed for a fast car you sure got some heavy rims... how much those things weigh?

![]() Anyway, I saw your comments regarding my A/F chart. But, I'm already at 385 rwhp with my street chip (i.e., running rich). I estimated 400 rwhp with the race chip (more flattened A/F curve all the way through). Anyway, thanks for the comments. Maybe one day, we can race. Our power to weight ratios are very close.

///M Roadster: hehehe yeah, you're running 11's for sure just like SilverStreak!you know that HP - 1/4 mile calculator? There's one here http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/et.htm I've checked the accuracy of this calculator and it's been good for all the cars I know off the top of my head weight/power-wise. When I punch in my numbers and evne when I make them bad like 4000lbs weight and 470 to the wheels (that's on a Mustang too... i can get 500 rwhp on a dynojet) it tells me i should run an 11.89 1/4 mile... now THAT's scary. How much boost are you running anyway? That's a pretty good gob of power you got there. Keep it up! ![]() tranmanm3: sorry I forgot to IM ya last night... got distracted, but you're definitely in the queue for rides priority seating lolLast edited by SC5-Charles; 10-24-2002 at 06:25 AM..

| Yeah right. I will be happy to pull into the 12 second club. I ran 13.1 with my 383 rwhp setup and 14 psi boost and my 19 inchers. That was my second and final run that time. I'm a track rookie so I will have to keep practicing. If I decide to ditch the cats and go with a straight pipe and racing fuel, I will give the race chip with its flatter A/F curve and 400 rwhp a chance to prove itself. BTW, that calculator is pretty decent. Thanks for the link. Using a weight of 3200 and rwhp of 385 yielded 11.79 and using 400 rwhp it was 11.65. NO chance I will get that this year, though.

well 275/40 DR's and you'll be good to run 11's like SilverStreak that and a little practice should get you there in a hurry lol too bad you're all the way out North East we could use more cars like that here in LA.Charles

Charles.. yeah, well i don't get it, people think PG2's are sooo heavy, but they're really not much heavier than anything else that's not a LTW rim. Stock 17x8 E36 M3 wheels are close to 24lbs.. my 18x9's are only 26! Is that so bad?? Well, either way they're getting replaced in about 3 weeks with some light 17's, so i'll stop complaining, but let it be known, that the 18" PG2's are NOT that damn heavy. Especially considering it's a two-piece forged wheel.. Anyway, yeah get a M-varilock diff out of an M5 and be done with it. Varilock owns.

The rest of my extended family is just outside Pasadena. I'd move there in a heartbeat if I knew a job was there that paid as much. ![]()
