I did not to change my BOSCH 4 plugs because of nitrous.I have not noticed any glazing either. There was an excellent tech article a few months back on spark plugs: what they do, hot to read them, select them...but I can't find it. It was either in MAXPOWER(eurotuner now) or SuperStreet.I'll find it and email it to you. It is most informative.
Do I have a safety window to ensure proper revs? Briefly NO.
My kit sprays at WOT. But as you know WOT can occur in any gear at any speed.(Fun but not safe to spray in 5 @60 and watch it pull like in third!)I do not have a NOS cutout either. I can tell where I am in the rev range at all times so I am relying on my own ears and eyes. But these are options that were available and that I would look into if I had an M3.More features= more money.(I'm a poor student
The same goes for the A/f meter. But I am definitely getting the A/F meter soon ....included in the MAF conversion kit!
Bottom line: spray over 3500 rpm in the PROPER gear and shift before you hit the rev limiter for worry free high performance!Buy the options of you if that puts your mind at ease.
