| i'm sorry, i don't *really* know that much about teh prochargers... SOOOOO... i'm gonna leave that to somebody else to answer..
the powerdyne unit is a centrifugal supercharger as well, but it uses a rubber belt to change teh gear ratios, which periodically wears out and snaps... other then that, its a slightly lower capacity unit then the vortech. it does have the added advantage of not needing oil lines.
the vortech v-1 is a great unit, albeit a bit noisey, the vortech v-2 is the superquiet version, which is queit, reliable, and can produce a lot more boost then the powerdyne unit.. (think 20psi) its very relaible, won't ever break. |
