Supercharger help!

Hi i just needed some info on some superchargers. Which is the best charger, cost vs. output...

Powerdyne
Procharger
Vortech

What would you expect the power output to be on an 325 with m3cams, crank pulley, 7psi?

i'm sorry, i don't *really* know that much about teh prochargers... SOOOOO... i'm gonna leave that to somebody else to answer..


the powerdyne unit is a centrifugal supercharger as well, but it uses a rubber belt to change teh gear ratios, which periodically wears out and snaps... other then that, its a slightly lower capacity unit then the vortech. it does have the added advantage of not needing oil lines.


the vortech v-1 is a great unit, albeit a bit noisey, the vortech v-2 is the superquiet version, which is queit, reliable, and can produce a lot more boost then the powerdyne unit.. (think 20psi) its very relaible, won't ever break.

i don't know about prochargers... but i know vortec IS better the powerdyne

20 PSI? That's news to me... I don't think thats accurate. Then again, I suppose I could be wrong!

the v2-sq from vortech is the best way to go..it is almost completely silent. it theoretically push 20 psi, but that wouldnt really work on our cars.
