Day 2 of Active Autowerke OBD2 M3 turbo kit installation.

Day 2: Installed turbo exhaust manifold, turbo oil supply line, added hoses for the boost controller, blow off valve, and wastegate, bolted turbo onto manifold, and fit piping for wastegate.

This picture shows the new turbo exhaust manifold bolted on. Took me almost 2 hours doing this job and I didnt have fun at all. My neck got stiff looking up straight and got some cuts on my fingers.

Here's the oil fitting for the oil return line from the turbo. The pan was drilled and tapped for the fitting.

Here I connected the turbo oil supply line which bolts behind the stock pressure sending unit port.

The turbo is then worked on by removing the internal wastegate parts and aligning the turbo bearing housing properly. In this picture the turbo is bolted onto the exhaust manifold. The oil supply line is attached to the housing.

Turbo downpipe is then bolted up as well as the wategate piping. I had some trouble in this area since welding the parts was a very difficult task.

Ryan-

I dont know the numbers know but on low boost I might be looking at 380hp and on high boost it'll be around 400hp. I dont know when the installation will be done. I'm thinking late next week.

Minus the welding...this is looking pretty much DIY so far like Pete said. Keep the pictures comin man! Question, after everything is bolted into place...then what? I'm assuming madness software tuning, right? What do you have left to do besides exhaust, intake piping, and BOV?

I cant wait for day 3!
