| I had no idea the turbo sat so close to the bottom of the car. Has anybody ever damaged the set up from running over something?

| Ryan- Yes the turbo will only be the serious modification. I'm debating if I should install the water/alcohol injection as well. I already have an aftermarket exhaust, AA lightweight flywheel and turbo clutch installed. Seedster- Not sure if I would call it a DIY. It is highly recommended that the installation be done on a lift. If you have one, then just have a good welder, cutting and grinding tools. Not to mention large drill bits and a tap set. More welding will be involved on the 3rd day on the exhaust side. Installation of the intake tubing will be fitted and installed. More grinding is necessary to clear out some parts. Hoping to install some of the wiring as well. QwickM3- I'll take a rear view picture of how parallel in relationship the downpipe is with the body frame. Karl did told me to be careful in going over speedbumps. |

| it's been done, in my driveway. Took a couple days of several hours at a time, maybe 12-15 total? Not hard at all, their kit is remarkably complete. The supercharger install did not require a single trip to the hardware store. I should repeat that: this did not require a SINGLE trip to the store. Everything was included, labeled, and called out in the instructions. very doable, and for $5,500, pretty much the way to go for 350 hp. |

| Yeah that looks like a fairly easy install considering whats being done. I would definitly do it myself but take my time although I don't have a E36.

| It only looks easy because we are getting the "Reader's Digest" version ![]() I can't really imagine trying to drill, tap, and weld with the car on jackstands. How many of us have lifts so we can go up and down at will to access the top and bottom of the car? Not to mention being able to stand underneath... I think if you are thinking of doing forced injection in your garage, you should be thinking of something that is belt driven. Thanks for the write-up Jon. Great stuff! Bernman |
