| I installed my RMS kit in about 25 hrs. This was with advanced knowldege and propper tools. I wouldn't recomend doing this unless you have both. It can be tricky trying to interpet the instuctions then applying it to what you have in front of you. But if you think you are up to it here is bacially how it goes for a RMS kit anyway. Remove airbox MAF and intake piping. remove cruise control box and relocate Remove fan and radiator modify crankcase oil and ventilition systems install crank pulley mount supercharger and brackets oil line hook up for s/c install and tension belt modify radiator and hoses install radiator and modified fan solder maf harness as well as cruise control harness install piping from s/c to throttle body and bypass valve install new injectors install DME and "black box" for injector recalibration then comes the testing to make sure everything is nice and tight and no fuel or oil leaks. This pretty much cover the install. I am sure there is a few things that I left out but for the most part it is pretty through.

| So, Blown, those 21 hr estimates for the Dinan kits, which happen to also include the replacement exhaust installation, arent so out of whack after all?! Agreed, theyre pros, and we're not. But Ive heard so many DIYers bragging that they can do it in under 12 hrs, its just refreshing to hear a response like yours for a change!

| Yeah you could maybe do your second one in 12 hrs. I find it hard to believe that a rms kit could be installed your first time in under 20 hrs. Especially on a 95 that requires retiming the cams. Posiibly a powerdyne unit that doesn't require oil feed lines, maybe but not a first time voretch install.

| Thank you Thank you blownM3.. Seems like i have to get it installed.. I thought since so many people are installing themselves, I thought I was simple.. Well How much should expect to pay to have a RMS kit installed.. without software and tuning..? and how about both installed software tuning.? thank again in advance.. mike

| My ESS kit took about 16hrs mostly because of the little details. But I had to send the SC off to Vortech to replace some leaking gaskets and it took about 40min to put it in and reconnect the hoses. |

| ya first u have to know what u r doing, and then u need all of the special parts/tools to put it in, but it does add the hp that people r looking for, but it is better to know exactly what u r doing to put it in, but if u dont, then try to find someone that does |
