ATTENTION Turbo bimmers!!!

Hi guys!
I was thinkig about turbocharging and stuff. So i've an experience with turbo audi 200. I hand out at audiworld forums, and ppl there allways talk about swapping turbo engines from older audi into their non-turbo cars. They always say that it';s easier to swap a turbo engine, than turbocharge ur own. The problems they point at are: oil cooling, manifold mods couple other thing, but the main thing that i am conserned with with is: the ECU(computer). They say that ECU is supposed to controll the boost and do some important stuff.


So those who have turbocharged their bimmers, could u please tell me, what were the problems, that u were faced with???
Did u do any ECU reprogramming or changing or something???
How much did u pay for turbocharging?

one of the best and well known turbocharger kits are at www.activeautowerke.com but they don't seem to update their site, i haven't checked lately though, check 'em out
