Thanks Jon, I appreciate that, coming from you it's quite a compliment. How's the turbo running on your car?

Thanks Syko, nice car you got there...

Why didn't you just save the hassle and get an M5?

that would just be boring...

its all about the journey, not at what's at the end of it.

Hey Charles! You are my hero!

I'm very glad to hear that things are going for the better. I know that its been a frusterating time for you when your car spent more time at the shops than in ur hands, but now.... I can imagine a HUGE smile across your face.

I can only remember your car previously, w/ the 4.10 differential... that "family sedan" was a monster down the streets. Every since you finally switched out the diff, and sent the car down to AA, I cant wait to see what you have in store for us to see.

It looks like AA is the long sought answer, I hope you break that 400rwhp mark!

Keep me updated Charles... maybe when the cars done, you can come down and we'll shoot a few games of pool at my house, and you can tell me your stories of this "project"

Good luck Charles,
Your stock 5 series bretheren

The bill is the LAST thing on my mind. But thanks for the overwhelming support by all of you whom have seen this project car from a POS to at least some hope

ultim8dtm5 said it best when with that quote, "its all about the journey, not at what's at the end of it" though I must agree I could have saved a hell of a lot of trouble by just buying an M5... but at this rate I plan to outrun the M5

Tye, Rich, Chuck thanks for all your support since you guys have had a certain amount of influence in my decision making. Chuck, I'm really happy that your car is running great with NickG's tuning capabilities. I have no doubt in my mind that he could have tuned my car, if it had been merely a tuning problem... but since I had an extra FPR... hehehe

ANYWAY, I have news of my car from Florida, she's decided to write.

Thanks all!

Charles,

Sounds like quite a story you have going, hopefully it works out well.

Quick question, are you going to keep the UNICHIP on your car ontop of the AA software? Any impressions you can give me on the UNICHIP? I've got one right now, but not on my car, so I'm trying to get as much feedback as to how effective it is.

Right now, I'm debating on who to go with for software. I've got the whole RMS stage 2 kit, but no software. Right now its RMS ($500) vs. AA ($800). Any suggestions with your experience? Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Good luck,

Spencer

Charles, Karl showed me your car last time I was down there, it was a few weeks ago and work was underway. Can't wait till I hear what you have to say when you get it back.

Glad you are getting some positive results now!

Good Luck!
