 AFM..Before or After Turbo??? Does anybody know which is better..... To put the AFM before the turbo or after the turbo... I would really like the help if anybody knows which is better. ThanX

| WHat he was asking is whether you should put it on the side with the intake, or the side with the forced air which is tracked into the engine.. you put it on before the turbo... It will read a normal airflow that way...

| the air should go in this order: Filter (unless you like replacing compressors) AFM Turbo compressor housing Intercooler BOV (as close to the throttle as possible) Throttle body Intake Manifold... What are you doing for fuel control?

| Before or After?? I've never seen a FACTORY car come out with the AFM after the turbo!! All before the turbo. Surely that must say something?? I've seen a few turbo'd cars running them after the turbo, I would love to know why!! |

| Thanx for clearing this up for me... there where a few web sites that people turbo there m20's and they put the AFM after the turbo..... As far as my fuel goes.... going to put larger injectors on to make up for the increase in air.... Thanx for making it clear... Here are some of the web sites that i saw which they put the AFM AFTER the turbo.... http://techno.resnet.gatech.edu/turbo5/ I can't think of the others but look around on the E30 Forum and you'll see for yourself

| Well, it CAN work both ways... www.amazon.com get "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. don't even try any sort of project like yours without that book.
