| agreed.... I think the NX kit is one of the most well-known kits out there, plus get the remote switch for your interior so you can switch it on that way. Too bad you are not closer, I'd sell you mine, never used except for the intercooler. Getting rid of it in favor of water injection. I would first run a compression and leakdown test to make sure your engine can handle it.... |

| you would be surprised how big of a shot the bmw i6's can take stock. just be sure if you go over a 35 shot... TAKE IT TO A DYNO and check your air/fuel ratio. that will be the deciding factor along with not exceeding a 100 shot on a stock motor or roughly 15-16hp per cylinder from the nitrous. |

| i dont think u should get NOS cuz it'll wear out ur engine even though that would take a while. get it tuned (cheapest) or super/turbocharged(expensive) hey it's ur choice!! |

| for nitrous? lets see... bending internal parts from heat, blowing your seals, gettin a $BIG$ ticket for using it... it takes off from your engine no matter how big a shot it is... and basic wear and tare... if you do it few and far between youre fine.. just dont expect to use it a lot without any problems...

| I think... it is similar to having a S/C or turbo on the car, you have to be conscious of what you do and not to do to much, and be prepared for maintenance. If your car is older, possibly going with a stronger headgasket ... etc.., might be a thought. There is a guy in this area, he runs 50 shot off the line and 175 shot ... I know I know...don't start flaming me that it's impossible. Because at first, I was like WTF...I have not heard of many people above 125...let alone 175.....He is the nitrous x-press spokesperson/representative...so the engine was built to handle it..... just be careful of detonation.......it's almost impossible to hear if you have an aftermarket exhaust, nice ICE, etc....throw it on a dyno to see what the A/F plot looks like....if you don't, you'll have newly formed holes in your hood...hehe... |

I thought you got rid of your Zex kit from bavauto becuase "They don't work on BMWs"? I do remember reading that you nearly blew up your engine as well. There are safer ways to get power from your BMW and in the long run cheaper too. Brian |

| contrary to popular belief nitrous is not that bad. if you stupid about it like anything then yes you will have problems. be responsible and you will be fine, as with any major power increase you run the risk of damaging your engine and degrading the engine life.....well guess what boys, in time i will degrade too so be smart and you will not have any issues. either take chances and enjoy it or be conservative and talk about it like you know whats up.
