Turbo On an ETA..Advantages..Disadvantages

I have an 85 325e Turbo but I was told that there huge disadvantages with doing this.....Too much wear on the bottom end...Crank may break... Is this true? ....If so how can I make the engine stronger for a low cost.

For what it's worth, it's been done before. In fact a few times already. If you want more insurance you can always use the forged crank out of the TD cars.
