Is turbo safe at nearly 90K?

I have a 95 325is, with 85K, would have 90K by the time I get the system. Is it safe to turbo a car like this with a kit like the stage 2 Trubo from AA? Oh, it's an auto to
Thanks
Storm

actually .. with the ECU that comes with the system combined with a Dinan transmission chip .. when left in 3rd gear your car will automaticly shift at around 6900-7000rpm everytime you keep it floored mrsha007. Full spool of the turbo would probably be below 3500rpm. Do you like it when people doubt your cars performance and compare it to things like civics because it has 4 cylinders?

However.. that much horsepower will kill your auto tranny. You can run turbo with an auto .. but just a stage 1, no more than 6-8 pounds of boost, and you'd have to be easy on her when you're not performing (as in not beating the crap out of the car at every opportunity). Thats why a s/c kit is more practical for an automatic .. just my 2 cents..

That would seem to be the logical step, i doubt ur auto would last to long with stg. 2. Why not just get the euro 6 speed as long as ur doing it? That would be sick

Torque is what kills the auto. Replace the tranny w/ a manual before installing a turbo otherwise get a s/c or a low shot of nitrous.

Guys, dont forget that the best drag cars are equipped with Automatic trannies! Of course, theyre not your stock automatic trannies!

So true, but I dont think AA will even install a turbo on a BMW with stock tranny, because they will shit parts.
