Where to get stage 1 supercharger/turbo?

I'm just looking around at stuff, but I want to throw some more performance into my car when I get it. Where's a good place? AA is expensive as hell.

...(or rather I'm always poor as hell)

It's for an E36 M3

yes, AA is expensive as hell...but bad news buddy, so is everybody else. if you want a good SC or turbo you're looking at least $5k. cheapest i've seen so far is about $4700 or so...i think that was either an ESS or ERT SC and i'm not sure about the quality of those 2 companies.

I've got the "ERT". What you need to keep in mind when dealing w/99% of the s/c out there in the states: it's the tuning. They all sell the same product.

There are two s/c choices - Powerdyne and Vortech

You can pick one up a used one the cheap (approx 50% of paid value) sometimes in the 'for sale' section (also use 'want to buy') and EBAY. I just went to the WTB section and some guy is selling a turbo on the cheap.
