well ive been planning on getting new tires because mine were such crap for a while but i guess now i have to. The other day in the rain my left rear tire blew out while i was accelerating, causing me to spin out and fly over a curb onto the grass backwards.
Now, when my car hit the curb and jumped it i was sliding backwards into the curb at an angle where i could see it possibly causing the right side some damage. Aftwards my right rear wheel wasnt sitting properly, it slants inward toward the bottom a little. When i jacked up the car to put on my spare, i noticed what looks like an L-shaped thin metal suspension piece, probably about 2-3 feet long, was bent up some on the right side. It goes from the center of the rear-underbody to the right wheel. I dont know much but my uneducated guess is the rear right control arm? Friend thought it might be an axle but he hasnt seen the car so i doubt it. I drove it home, carefully since it was nearby, followed by a friend. I cant get it looked at until monday and i know there could be underlying damage, but based on the drive home and the appearance i really think its just this one piece, if it was anything TOO bad or if there was shock damage etc i think i wouldve noticed something while driving it home. Its the lowest hanging piece and it probably got hit by the curb as the rest of the car jumped over it. I know theres no way of really telling without seeing but im trying to be as descriptive as possible. Any guess as to whats wrong? If not.. what parts can cause a wheel to sit wrong?

Thanx for any help.
