| turbo Hey Brad, I was thinking about getting a mechtech also but after searching for a definite answer without much success, I've decided to stay with my SC (I just love it) but me like everyone else, am looking for more hp/tq. My worries about the mechtech, was the management software, it seem that everyone that's had mechtech was having trouble with it. But now that you say that AA is doing the management software, I'm begining to think about mechtech again. Let us know how it goes and maybe post some dyno graphs of your set-up. Good luck and keep us posted.

As far as everyone having software trouble, I don't know if I would say that is the case. I know several people who have no problems. He switched to Karl a while back and now he also stopped doing fuel computers, etc..now its just the software and the turbo kit with injectors, fuel pump, etc. |

You will always see me recommend turbos over s/c any day, mainly due to the torque factor. I cannot fathom 300-400 Ft pounds of torque in that car...no matter what it turns out to be. It already pulls so hard stock in 4th gear. I read with the turbo charger, 5th gear pulls like 3rd gear did before the kit. |
