| turbo piping? intercooling? wastegate actuator? well ok ill start with some more turbo questions yippy! well as much as i would love to make my own unique custom turbo piping, i think id find it cheaper, and friendier to copy someone else design 8) anyone have any tips, pics, info etc for me? wehre would be a good place to mount an intercoolor, i can think of 3 places... in the front behind right side headlights, in the front, where the oil cooler is *which means removing the oil cooler* or take out my fog(s) and put an intercooler where the air-to-brake ducting is.. lastley, when i run a line from the wastegate (most likley internal) to A. right after the turbo before the intercooler B, after the IC before the throttle body, or C. in the intake manifold. B is supposed to be the compromise between heat, and response. so with this information which do u suggest i do? i was thinking of off the intake manifold, but where would i mount a line? are there any lines i could tap into to harness the pressure of the intake? damn this are techincally questions, i hope some of yall can help!!!

You most definitely cannot (or should not) remove the oil cooler. Most likely the turbocharger will tap engine oil for cooling, and you will need that oil cooler. As for other questions, copy AA's design on the E36, should work fine. |

| Run the vacuum line for the wastegate from right after the turbo and the boost gauge from the manifold.
