Turbo kits?

Are there any other turbo kits out there for the '97 328i other than the Mech-tech kit?

Or is supercharger a better way to go for a forced induction system on my car?

depends how much $ you have to spend. If I was in your position I would just go straight for the M3. If you want advice about the MT turbo read Brad D.'s sig.

LUCKY for you even MechTech doesn't make a Turbo Kit for the 328. If they did I would kill you if you bought one...hehehe

We have a E36 OBD2 kit for it, but it has to be done inhouse only.

Car has to be shipped to Miami and tuned before going back to the
owner for all glitches worked out.

How do you go about doing the OBD1 conversion? Just reprogramming of the ECU or do you need a whole new computer? Please let me know Im very interested in this. Also where can I get more info about the conversion? If I do go for the OBD1 change, do current mods or planned things still work that were for the original OBD2 or am I outa luck?

I have no clue...I was told by a few people including MechTech that they don't make a kit for the 328...OF COURSE it will fit, but maybe they don't have CARB exemption for it. Keep in mind also that Ryan has a 328 (lower compression than the 3.2) and he runs less boost.

My understanding is you can't fallback to a ODB1 on a vehicle 96+. It is illegal. Now if you had a 95 and dropped a 96 M3 engine in this would be an exception. I wonder if you would ever get caught though.
