ZEX Nitrous Kit from BavAuto?

Hey all

Has everyone used the ZEX kit from BavAuto? Lookin for opinons here folks.

Would only being on the bottle part time off set the full time pep of running with Jim C software?

Also, my poor car is only a slushie...so any experience with Nitrous in Auto-box E36s would be great appreciated.

i am also wondering about this kit from bavoauto... seems nice to me! since... they actually made a kit specially for bmw!~ but... if anyone got it... please post opinion!~

Most kits are universal anyway. The ZEX kit is part number 82019 for BMW that BavAuto sells. The 82011 is the kit for Hondas and has exactly the same components except the feed line is 2 feet shorter. Basically, you can use the 82011 (which frequently swarms Ebay) or you can pay $150 more for the 2 feet of nitrous line from BavAuto. I know several people running the ZEX.

As far as the Auto Tranny, the preferred application for nitrous is an auto. I would still run an MSD window switch though.

I opted for Nitrous Express because it is a wet kit and yields more hp generally than a dry kit per same amount of nitrous. It is NX part number 80923. No, I am not done installing it yet. I am waiting on my window switch and NGK plugs. I am doing a full write up on the kit and will have 1/4 mile times and dyno graphs as well.
