At the track whatch out? are you kidding me? Aren't the Porsche's 'sposed to have the most grip and handling out of almost every car, plus 0-60 of the turbo and whatnot is hella faster than most or all ferrari's. Don't get me wrong tho, i love ferrari's, and would love to have one over any porsche, with the exception of a turbo or one of the GT models.

ehhh not only does the modena stop from 80 in more then 20 feet less then the 996t but its also 500lbs lighter... not to mention that it equals the 996's grip at low speed and only increases with speed as its MASSIVE diffuser begins to create real downforce...

there is no doubt about it a modena will demolish a 996t on a real track. the 996t is not "hella" faster then the modena 0-60, its .1 second faster... the two cars even out at higher speed, most of that advantage comes from the launch...


we've had both, the modena is undoutably faster for track use... for draggin tho 996 is where its att... throw a chip in that bad boy and hold on... too bad AWD = GHEY... watch tiff's review, we had the exact same trouble with it... understeer, understeer, and more understeer... the modena you can drift.


most or all ferrari's? lol... a 550 will kill a 996t 0-60, and if you want to bring out the big boys an f50 will beat every porsche in every way. sorry but, porsche just doesn't compare.

I love Ferraris and would take one in a heartbeat over a 996TT but I don't know where you're getting your info from. A 550 Maranello does 0-60 in 4.4-4.5 and the 996TT does it in 3.9-4.0, even if you're talking about the new 575M it is faster than the 550M and still does 0-60 in 4.1-4.2, still not enough to beat the 996TT.
