nitrous questions

Can a nitrous kit be installed and used in conjunction with a Jim C chip? I know my Mustang buddies were saying something about retarding the timing when using nitrous on mustangs, and i know the chip affects the stock ignition on our bimmers. I know apples and oranges but, I don't know much about this type of thing. Which kit would be reccomended? What are the down sides of using nitrous? I would only use it occasionally and not in real big doses, thinkin maybe a 50-75 shot. Thanks

You could use either a wet or dry kit. I'm using a dry NOS kit jetted at a 75 shot. Others are using ZEX kits jetted at a 75 shot. If you plan on using nitrous, you shouldn't use a chip. Timing is advanced (a big no-no with nitrous) with all the performace chips.

That's what I thought about the chips, just making sure I wasn't getting my info crossed up. What did you do to the front valence on you car looks different but sophisticated? I like it alot. Do you like the nitrous or would you rather have something that's there all the time (ie supercharger/turbo)? What kind of nitrous kit dou you have?
