How fast is Ta's RMS supercharger?

That is absolutely true but even without the software, he beat an E46 M3. That's pretty cool!

It's hard to believe he beated E46 M3, unless the driver didn't drive hard enough. Think this way, M3 has 3.64 final drive ratio and 330 has only 2.93. Also, M3 has 333HP. The only disadvantage about M3 is its torque. If I m correct, RMS stage I gives 330 around 280ft.lb torque vs. 265ft.lb from M3. Anyway, I am a big fan of 330 since I have one myself. I am happy that he beated an E46 M3. I cannot wait to see more 330 beasts out there. Way to go!

Great points! I couldn't agree with you more! I believe that he had other things done to his car than just the supercharger. I believe he has the RMS lightweight flywheel, RMS racing clutch, and some other things off the E46 M3 I believe. Also, he said that the M3 is though because it revs so high and we are limited to 6000 RPM. His car will be tuned higher to pump out close to 360 HP in the near future. Can't wait!

let's put it this way ..... do u think 95M3(3.0)with Supercharge can beat E46 M3(stock)(it should be pretty close rite)Except the torque of new M3 is only 262....that's y it's hard to say which is faster.... However, if i do race E46 M3.....and i lost ..... of course there is not thing to be proud of. because u just beat 330....but if E46 M3 can't keep up with 330SC.....that's something i should be proud of.....but i don't care if my car is faster then M3 or not......maybe M3boyee do(u know).....

I'm not exactly sure who he raced but I would like to see that match up with a very skilled stick M3 driver ... UHMMM Al Uhmm bert. HAHA, it would be awesome to see who wins !!!

First off, I am proud of every BMW out there, but I am just curious whether the 330 can beat E46 M3 with SC, if so, I will be thinking of getting one. It's not few pennies, I work hard for my money. I want to make sure it's worth every little penny.

When I am on the street, I cannot stand anyone inching forward and give me a mean look like he's going to win at the line. There's no way they'd would know I have dropped a SC below the hood. I'd love to see a video of the race between the 330 SC vs. E46 M3. Many people have said E46 is a real BEAST, what about a 330 SC?

You're absolutely right about being proud of by beating a E46 M3 with our 330 no matter what. Another factor other than performance could lie between the drivers' skill, don't u think? I like to give others a full surprise if they mess around with me. I normally don't race, but if I do race, I dont like to lose.

I've heard the E36 M3 beated many E46 M3(stock). I am not surprise at all! 330 in a few months will not be a 'look down' puppy, it will probably be a new beast on the street =P

I've too heard of stories from everything ranging from an E36M3 owner beating an E46M3 owner (saw this on video) - to my kill story of outrunning a Z06 Vette- it all comes down to the driver.

Kenboi330 .....rite now, RMS is putting bigger fuel injector into my car and also tuning the software as well.....i will be picking it up later this week.....and i planing to dyno my car the day after.....so i can have a exact number for Sema Internation Auto Salon next week!
