turbo diesal exhaust manifold fit?

ive heard of this, but am at a loss at knowing if it will fit the 1990 325i block fine ? ive heard it does, and does not so any direction would be surely appreciated! (yes im considering turbo-ing my car and am looking at all the options 8)

no tot without modification the exhaust port spacing looks to be the same but the bolts don't line up. i had the same idea and am still working on it.

Has anyone written an article about how this could be done ?

All i knew was that you could use the turbo manifold from a 524td with a spacing.
