| Turbocharger I'm thinking of getting a turbocharger for my 318i (european model - 116 HP stock). Because I live in Belgium, the closest turbocharger retailer is Mosselman Turbo in Holland. Their turbocharger crank my car up to 185 HP. Do any of you guys have experience with turbochargers? Does is affect other stock parts of your car? (I would kill my self if my car would be f*cked up by putting a turbocharger). The reason why I want a turbocharger is: 1) They are cheaper than superchargers (and I don't have alot of money like those DTM dudes )2) I can't find any superchargers designed for a 318i Tnx for any advice. | turbochargers are usually far more costly than superchargers...i believe there is a company in the U.S. called "Downing Atlanta" who make superchargers for 318's and z3 1.9's. they claim to add about 50% of your car's performance. i don't remember them being too expensive either. might want to check it out and see if they can do anything for you even if you are in Holland. good luck.
