| I used to have an '87 Saab 900 Turbo before the M3. I did a little turbo tuning on that and I have to say, it wasn't geared to be a fast car off the line, but on the highway that car was very fast. I routinely whooped fools in BMW's that thought their cars were faster.
Then I bought a BMW. Honestly though, I was pumping 14psi out of the stock turbocharger on that saab, I put on a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, changed the intake and exhaust and that stupid old car was so damn fast. There is no doubt in my mind that it would walk all over my M3 on the highway, not off the line, but on the highway for sure. All that, and I bought the car unmodified with 150,000 miles on it. For all you turbo haters, my brother drives the car now and it's still boosting like mad and has a little over 190,000 on the clock. Just an interesting story I thought I'd share
