CRASHED!! where to get new bumper/nose panel? =[

Not too serious, I slid on the ice into the trailer hitch of big truck, it punched right through my bumber just under my headlight.

Now my nose panel is all twisted up, and my front bumper is cracked and hanging a bit. The fender is bent a little but may not need replacing.

I was thinking maybe this would be a good reason to get a M3 style front bumper. Where should I look for a replica kit? What kinda price range am I lookin at?

What ususally comes with a bumper? is it just the plastic that fits over the front bumper material behind it or is it a whole massive bumper?

How hard is it to install a new nose panel and bumper? Will insurance cover an aftermarket part if I bought it (minus deductable)?

Any help or suggestions you guys have would be GREATLY appriciated!

He supplied the link in his messege, click on it. All the stuff is really cheap so some reason. I emailed them and they said the refurbished bumpers are OEM, but they have other styles also that are fiberglass.

My friend called and shipping for a whole complete kit is $800-$1000usd to California. Parts are cheap but the shipping cost is not worth it.

i didn't see any of the posts w/ the answer or link (looks liek it was deleted), so pls excuse me if this is repeated information.

front M3 bumper is the whole bumper and strips w/o the foglamps. I got mine from 1-800-909-PART, which is a pacific bmw (a dealership in burbank, CA). the price was about 400 bucks and that comes w/ everything you need. great quality. i would not recommend you get a replica kit.

in terms of the nose piece, pacific bmw wouldn't ship it because they don't ship sheetmetal. so I got mine from a local body shop which gets about 15% off from dealer prices (whihc are pretty expensive). the dealer charges about 140 for the nose piece and 25 for each grill.

I just chagned to the new style grills so if you want the old ones, I can sell you my old ones cheap. my nose piece has a little dent at the end.

installation of the bumper is easier than installing the nose piece. for the nosepiece, you'll have to remove the headlights and stuff. should take a fair number of hours (3-4 hrs).
