How does NOS work?

I was wondering.. when you press those little buttons.. what does it exactly do.. cuz im telling these Bimbo girls faulse meanings of NOS, and there like ohh wow.. do you have it.. im like yeah.. on Autos u have this little button under the Gas pedal that i dunno what it does, but makes the RPM literally jump.. anyways.. i showed them.. and there all like WOW.. its so cool...

so anyways.. what does the button do?

Oh no we have resorted to prevarications to get booty .....anyway to answer your question in the simplest form NOS creates a more dense fuel air mixture therfore creating a "rich" mixture which in turn gives better combustible explosion = more power!

your refering to the kickdown feature on automatics. NOS is something different. Its a gas that is injected into your engine which is highly powerful may I add and is basically like giving your car a big cup of coffie. Dont last long but it makes you go.

NOS is a corrosive gas that acts as an oxidizer along with more fuel to give you a momentarily higher horsepower and percived acceleration increase. The NOS dosent richen the air fuel, if you add it alone, it will lean out the mixture, this is why you must increase fuel pressure or inject fuel along with the NOS to keep the proper mixture. The button under the gas pedal is the "kickdown switch", it causes the transmission to downshift, just like with a manual, to pass or accelerate. The two are really not related, except that they both help acceleration at full throttle. Hey, if it helps you get booty, tell em its whatever you want, just dont get caught

edit: damn beat me, but atleast you're right

check welding supply places, but kits should come with empty tanks to get filled, you cannot ship tanks filled due to their explosive properties.

learn more about Nitrous before you invest in it man...on the long run youd prolly spend more money refilling yur tanks than buying a turbo....you cant hold the button down forever

lots of import shops carry the gas. it runs around 35 bucks to get the normal size tank filled, and its done by weight.

10000 dollars for a turbo is a SHITLOAD of nos.... if you go through all of that, you have a problem.

Wet - nitrous and gas is mixed and sprayed from the fogger. Dry - only nitrous from the fogger.

could i just get the setup and not the NOS, and setup the NOS when i want to? or either way, you fuck up and it will still blow up? i was wondering if i had the setup, not the actual NOS tank hooked up, would it still cause any damage, lets say one day my car had a fire or sumtin? or am I still screwed for the wiring going into the engine?

yep... also in a dry system... additional fuel IS added, the computer sees that the engine is suddenly running lean (o2 sensors) and then adds fuel to compensate through the injectors...
