| garrett gt35 or similar (could go smaller but what if you get power hungry?)
biggest injectors your ecu can handle (harder to tune but better in the long run... handle more power, not quite sure on what the ol' e36 ecu is up for)
someone good at tuning
oil lines
piping
intercooler (basically the biggest that will fit behind your bumper, for that power range the cheaper ones will do, just make sure they are fairly high flow in construction. obviously better brand = better cooling)
exhaust manifold (i think the best ones over there are 666fab?? we have 6boost here :P)
decent waste gate if turbo isnt internally gated
BOV (plumb back unless you are gay or planning on going over 600hp)
The bottom end of your engine will handle that horsepower ok but if you want to break the 350hp i'd recommend forged pistons and rods (wouldn't go without them over 450hp)
If you get forged pistons and rods you may aswell get your crank out nitrided and heat treated ect. not necessary but may aswell to keep 100% reliability
Oil cooler
Probably missed a few things but just keep in mind that you will get much better response out of a good bb jap turbo than you would out of a cheap cb chinese turbo and the same with intercoolers, the better ones have less pressure drop and cool better. Depending on where you mount the turbo and how you run the oil lines a remote oil pump might be needed. always good to have one anyway.
oh and the biggest exhaust possible, get all that restriction out the way!
If you dont have a good tuner then dont bother either because the tune will make or break the car with much lower rpm spool up and better efficiency and peace of mind. Invest the most time and (maybe) money in the tune, the returns are definately worth it!
