Max Boost for standered M50

Hi all
I just wonder how much the M50 can handle boost on stock internals?
I got E30 with 256s1 M50 engine and as a first stage am planning to turbocharge it without any modifications to the engine, so how much boost can it handle without making any damage for my stock engine??

with a headgasket....over 600rwhp; everything stock, 10 psi

Don't worry about the transmission.....as far as diff, I love my 2.93.

hmmmmm, ok, Final things now.
what is the recommended turbo for this setup, and what is the best way to ensure more fuel on the stock engine with the stock ECU?!

I think the GT30, GT35, SC61, T60-1 are all excellent turbo's for these engines.....I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. What are your power goals?

with lowered comp they say about 9psi some even push to 11 but I wouldn't push it unless you want car guts every where

what would be some suggestions to check out before I turbo my 92 325i
im going to pick it up next weekend and I wanna know what all I should do before I turbo it and what all i should check once I get it
my last one was a 93 325i auto that I bought off a lot with a 5 year warranty so I didnt worry too much about anything
