| Same stuff, different name. Imagine a radiator (hopefully you know how a radiator works) just instead of the coolant, there is air passing through it. Turbo is on one side, throttle body on the other. That is what you would call an air-to-air IC. Water-to-air IC is one where air passes through a chamber filled with ice. This is usually used for drag racing, since ice would melt really fast if you used it for track. Google it if you still don't get it.
